Q: Can one continue in the extended health plan after retirement?

A: One can continue provided one applies to Blue Cross within 3 months of retirement. A form is available from Blue Cross for this purpose. You will need to pay the premiums for the plan. Alternatively, one can opt for a new plan (first allow our plan to lapse) and pay the premiums for that.
